*{{Endn|Note 1}}: At one point in [[Angron's Monolith (Novella)|Angron's Monolith]]{{Fn|1a}}, Halstron is referred to by [[Nico Tarryn]] as a "[[witch hunter]]", which is an appellation normally applied to members of the [[Ordo Hereticus]] rather than the [[Ordo Malleus]]. However, it is possible that Tarryn is either simply not being specific about Halstron's Ordo, or that he was told Halstron was a witch hunter by his superiors, who were concealing the chapter's true purpose on Armageddon from most of the Marines beneath them.{{Fn|1b}}{{Fn|1c}}
