Though the world was doomed, the [[Iron Hands]] [[Chapter]]'s [[Clan Raukaan]], led by [[Iron Captain]] [[Grolvoch]], unexpectedly came to its aid. With their blood and lives, the Iron Hands held back Fulgrim and his forces, which allowed Sabbyst's surviving population to evacuate.{{Fn|1}}
