Once there the Ultramarines prepared to battle the Tau, who had managed to board the Enduring Blade; but [[Epistolary]] [[Delpheus]], plagued by visions that a more powerful enemy would show itself aboard the ship, managed to convince his old friend Ardias that they needed to save their strength and avoid fighting the Tau.
