'''Baltan''' was a [[Commissar]] assigned to a [[Armageddon Steel Legion]] force, sent to the [[Hive World]] [[Sephlagm]], to put down a [[Chaos Cult]] rebellion. Unfortunately for the Legion, the [[Dark Angels]] were also on Sephlagm hunting for a [[Fallen Angel]] who they believed to be on the Hive World. As the Steel Legion traveled to a Cultist hotspot, they were attacked by the Dark Angels, who began cracking open their vehicles in search of the Fallen Angel; , exposing their crews to the Hive World's deadly atmosphere. Seeing the Steel Legion being undone vehicle by vehicle, Baltan gave the order for the Legion to fire upon the traitorous Dark Angels. It did no good , however, as the weakened Legion were no match for the Dark Angels and were easily beaten. Before they could be finished off , however, the surviving Dark Angels suddenly teleported away - just before a [[Deathstrike Missile Launcher|Deathstrike missile]] struck the battlefield, killing Baltan and destroying the Steel Legion force.{{Fn|1}}  ==Related Articles==*[[List of Commissars]]
