{{ChaosPortalTzeentchPortal}}{{NecromundaPortal}}The '''Immortal Cult''' is a [[Necromunda (planet)|Necromunda]] [[Tzeentch]] [[Psyker]] [[Cult]], that seeks to bring about a psychic awakening in [[Mankind]] {{Fn|1}} and has plagued the [[Hive World]] for millennia, since [[M34]].{{Fn|1a2a}}

The [[Inquisition]] is well aware of the Cult and ruthlessly persecutes it by hunting down and killing its members without mercy{{Fn|23}}. One such instance was in 409.[[M39]], when several [[Inquisitors]] and their gang allies disrupted the Cult's ritual to psychically awaken millions of Necromundans. Unfortunately this caused a psychic shockwave that extinguished the souls of all living things for a hundred kilometers, from the ritual's location in the far north of the [[Hive World]]. This included an entire [[Hive]] cluster, whose name and inhabitants were also purged from Necromunda's surviving population's memories. To this day, the existence of the forgotten northern Hive cluster, is considered a geographical error on the part of the [[Administratum]].{{Fn|1b2b}}

Later in 944.[[M41]], the Immortal Cult enacted a plot to take over [[Hive Acropolis]] by subverting hundreds of [[House Delaque]]'s [[Spyker]]s. The Cult uses their psyker powers to plunder the secrets of the dreaming Spykers, and then compels them to gather together groups of [[Unsanctioned psyker]]s destined for the [[League of Black Ships|Black Ships]]. However [[House Helmawr]]'s [[Astropaths]], are able to warn the [[Inquisition]] of the Immortal Cult's plot. [[Ordo Hereticus]] agents later organize local Necromunda gangs, to hunt down the psykers and wage war through the madness that ensues.{{Fn|1c2c}}
