Invareln was an outcast from Minean society who was badly scarred in a [[phosgene gas]] explosion. Blaming the planet and its society for his problems, Invareln made a bargain with a [[Keeper of Secrets]], using his body to open a [[Warp Rift]] at the top of a hab tower on Minea. A squadron of [[Iron Knights]] led by [[Space Marine Commander|Commander]] [[Goedendag Morningstar]] fought their way through hordes of [[Daemonette]]s to the top of the tower, where Goedendag sealed the rift by killing Invareln.{{Fn|1}}
