He created many of his body modifications, by mixing Van Saar's [[STC]] technologies with common [[Imperial]] tech, but Strix must now harvest parts from his enemies in order to keep himself alive. This has led the Bounty Hunter to work with [[Underhive]] gangs, if there is the promise of technology or a hefty score of creds. In combat Strix is a deadly enemy, as he wields a pneumatic-claw gun and his bodysuit includes a jet pack, he calls the '''S.H.O.C.K. wing''', which allows the Bounty Hunter to soar across the battlefield. Perhaps the most deadly weapon he wields, though, is the fear Strix creates in his foes. Many of them believe the Bounty Hunter is not even [[Human]] at all, but instead a mechanical horror, that Hive Primus' Noble Houses have unleashed upon the Underhive, for their own dark amusement.{{Fn|1}}
