In 615.[[M33]] it reemerged from the [[Warp]], its re-entry signature suggesting that it had left the [[Materium]] over twenty thousand years previous. This predates the invention of [[Warp Drive]] by humanity during the [[Dark Age of Technology]] and suggest radical time distortion. Transmissions picked up suggest the ''Blade of Infinity'' tries to communicate warnings to the [[Imperium]] before major [[Chaos]] incursions.{{Fn|1}}
In 189887.[[M39]], a similar vessel called the ''[[Spirit of Eternity]]'' was discovered by [[Archmagos]] [[Plosk]] (who noted the similarities of the two ships) within the space hulk ''[[Death of Integrity]]''. According to the ''[[Spirit of Eternity]]'s'' sapient [[abominable intelligence| A.I.]], became lost in the [[Warp]] sometime in [[M24]].{{Fn|2}}{{Fn|2a}}
In 969.[[M41]], the ''Blade of Infinity'' is once again sighted, this time near the [[Cando]] system. As it approached, the ship is mysteriously replaced by the [[Terminus Est]], resulting in a massive outbreak of [[Zombie Plague]] running rampant across the system.{{Fn|1a}}
