Following Yesugei's death in the [[Battle of Catallus]], Naranbaatar became Chief Stormseer.{{Fn|1}}  During the [[Siege of Terra]], Naranbaatar was one of the senior White Scars officers at the [[Colossi Gate]]. During the battle, Naranbaatar and his Stormseers were able to fend off a psychic assault by [[Ahriman]] and the [[Order of Ruin]].{{Fn|2}}
