'''Escalade One''' was a [[Land Raider]] in service with the [[Black Templars]] [[Chapter]].{{Fn|1}}
It was one of three Land Raiders, alongside [[Escalade Two|Escalades Two]] and [[Escalade Three|Three]], assigned to [[Castellan (Black Templars)|Castellan]] [[Marius Reinhart]] during the Chapter's operations on [[Stygia XII]]. Escalade One was responsible for transporting Reinhart himself, as well as [[Techmarine]]s [[Cerebus (Black Templars)|Cerebus]] and [[Fernus]] and the remains of [[Sword Brother]] [[Ezekial Yesod]] (who was to be interred within a [[Space Marine Dreadnought|Dreadnought sarcophagus]].{{Fn|1}}
At one point the Black Templars were caught in an ambush by [[Chaos Cultists]] as they passed through a narrow defile, which resulted in Escalade Three being destroyed and Escalade One crippled.{{Fn|1}}
