According to [[Codex: Space Marines (4th Edition)]], as of 981.[[M41]], Captain Taelos was undertaking a warrior pilgrimage on the worlds of Maelstrom, Choria, Fell Heart and [[Golgotha]] against [[Ork]] forces, and his current fate is unknown.{{Fn|4}}
In [[Codex Supplement: Ultramarines (8th Edition)]] he is presumably erroneously labeled as the 10th Captain of the [[Ultramarines]].{{Fn|6}}
