Only the Grey Knights kept their memories.

This is given that, after defeating a daemon of [[Nurgle]] on [[Luna]], the surviving non-traitors of the [[Death Guard]], led by [[Nathaniel Garro]], along with the Remembrancers who accompanied them, were formed into the original Inquisition, and from the outset the purpose was to monitor mutants, heretics, psykers and aliens.
