The atmosphere of oppression and paranoia that resulted from the revolt was fertile ground for the spread of an underground religion. When a [[Genestealer]] was unwittingly borne to the planet’s surface by the freighter ''[[Redspark]]'', a widespread [[Cult of the Bladed Cog|cult]] was soon to follow. The xenoform was seen as proof that there were other worlds beyond the clouds and that salvation could be found in its worship.
