Little is known of the '''"Omphalos Daemonium"'''. All that is known is that it is a [[daemon]] that plagues the depthless realm of the [[warp ]] in a scarlet train fueled by the screams and the pains of the tormented it holds in its carriages. The Omphalos Daemonium itselfs bears a resemblance to a vast [[Iron Warrior]] of the [[Traitor Legions]], though it bears signs of being daemon influenced.

The Omphalos Daemonium is featured in the novel [[Dead Sky, Black Sun (Novel)|Dead Sky, Black Sun]]. In the novel it captures two disgraced [[Ultramarines]], [[Uriel Ventris]] and his former [[Sergeant]] [[Brother Pasanius]]. It takes the two to the world of [[Medrengard]], [[homeworld]] of the traitor [[Iron Warriors]], in order to take an object it calls the [[Heart of Blood]].
