It will be was released as a hardback with two cover variants, one being supplied in the 9th such core [[Indomitus_(Box)| Indomitus boxset]]. A 3rd special edition variant was also produced and was limited to 2000 copies. Notably this rulebook for saw the first use of a revamped logo, replacing the gameversion first used in [[Warhammer 40,000 3rd Edition Rulebook | 3rd edition]].
