When a [[Space Hulk]] materlized out of the [[Warp]], Zakaron led his Chapter in investigating it and discovered that elements of the Warband known as [[The Cleaved]] were infesting it. The two sides soon clashed, but the battle was won by the Dark Angels when Zakaron manually triggered cyclonic charges that destroyed the Hulk's engine rooms, though it was at the cost of the Supreme Grand Master's life, as he was killed in the explosion.{{Fn|1}}
