Sometime after the [[Great Rift|Great Rift's]] creation, the worlds were faced with destruction when the Phantax Sector was invaded by the [[Tyranid]]s of [[Hive Fleet]] [[Scitalis]].{{Fn|1}}
However, before the Tyranids of Scitalis could reach Vermidium, the [[Death Guard|Death Guard's]] 6th Plague Company appeared and attacked the Hive Fleet. They have since launched strikes against Scitalis' [[Synapse]] beasts and have caused the Hive Fleet's advance to slow and scatter across a dozen [[system]]s.{{Fn|1}}
