It was said to ''burn with the fire of a sun'' and was capable of laying waste to cites and armies in seconds. The Angel was twice as tall as a man with mighty wings on its back; it carried a massive flaming sword and left a trail of blue fire wherever it went. While physical attacks could slow it down or stun it, they could not truly harm it. It was also completely immune from psychic attack, with any attempts to do so resulting in the psyker suffering a psychic backlash.{{Fn|1b}}
