As the commander of the 9th, Khadajei teaches his Brotherhood to overcome their natural instincts in warfare and adopt a different strategic role, of leveling devastating salvos into their enemys' ranks. He reinforces this doctrine, by training his warriors in fighting from trench lines and fortifications, as Khadajei encourages them to see every feature of the battlefield as a potential strongpoint.{{Fn|1}}
