It originally served as a major [[Adeptus Mechanicus]] research site and hundreds of [[Tech-Priest]]s and [[Servitor]]s worked there to info-scour the surrounding parsecs in a secretive quest. Several centuries ago, however, a supply vessel arrived to find the station empty and barren and no sign of what happened to the Tech-Priests. Since then it has become a popular trading post for [[Rogue Trader]]s and common merchants alike, where thousands now live; with extended generations working to maintain and expand it. All who live there, though, have occasional concerns over the mysterious fate that befell its previous occupants.{{Fn|1}}
