The '''Isessos System{{PAGENAME}}''' is a [[system]] of [[Segmentum Pacificus]]. In 008.[[M31]] during the [[Horus Heresy]], a group of [[Alpha Legion]] warriors undertook a series of raids in the System which led to sever casualties. Survivors were transferred to the System's three [[Agri-World]]s, but were found to have been infected with an unknown algal strain harmless to humans but deadly to plant life. The strain spread, and within a year a [[Sector]]-wide famine erupted that killed 90 billion [[Imperial]] citizens.{{Fn|1}}
