==Overview==
When the [[Horus Heresy|Heresy]] began, Yonnad was given command of his [[Space Marine Legion|Legion]]'s '''Retribution Fleet'''; which was sent by [[Dorn]] to confront [[Horus]], in the [[Isstvan System]]. However, after the Retribution Fleet entered the [[Warp]], it was hit by [[Warp Storm|severe storms]] that wrecked havoc upon it and caused numerous casualties and destroyed many of the [[Imperial Fists]]' ships. When the Retribution Fleet finally exited the Warp in the [[Phall System]], it was discovered that Yonnad was among the many Imperial Fists that were killed by the storms. After the remnants of the Retribution Fleet were reformed, command of the remaining ships fell to Captain [[Alexis Polux]]; who was Yonnad's current protégé and amongst the greatest of his pupils.{{Fn|2}}
