The transmogrifying plague known as the Technovirus spreads from [[Medrengard]]’s across the worlds of the [[Eye of Terror]]. It infects metal construct and human flesh alike, turning one to the other and blending warriors with their weapons and wargear until only machine-things remain. After a series of vicious conflicts, the nihilistic [[Cult of Destruction]] expands massively. [[Obliterators]] and [[Mutilators]] join the ranks of the Iron Warriors in ever greater numbers.{{Fn|1}}
