Though they forced open a breach in the enemy defenses they tool grievous losses and forced Guilliman to advance his own forces. The First Legion was eventually able to reach the central place but were wiped out by a hidden [[Nuclear Weapon|atomic]] mine, killing the second Grandmaster of the First Legion.
