Elements of the Legio participated in the [[Compliance of Isstvan III]], fighting alongside the [[Titan]]s of the [[Legio Adamantus]], the [[Space Marines]] of the [[Raven Guard]] [[Space Marine Legion|Legion]] and [[Imperial Army]] soldiers of the [[Therion Cohort]].{{Fn|3}}
At the outbreak of the [[Horus Heresy]] the Legio Victorum II sided with the traitors while the Legio Victorum I & II III remained loyal. The Legio Victorum II attacked its allies on [[Thule]] during the [[Thramas Crusade]].{{Fn|7}} Elements of the Legio Victorum II also fought against loyalists in the [[Battle of Tralsak]]{{Fn|4}}. The Legio Victorum II and III were both largely destroyed in the Heresy but some elements from both did survive the conflict. The Legio Victorum I was split between loyalist and traitor allegiances and entirely destroyed. After the war the surviving loyal engines from I and III were merged into simply ''Legio Victorum''.{{Fn|7b}}
Many millennia later the Legion is known to have fought in the [[Orphean War]]{{Fn|2}} and the [[Third War for Armageddon]].{{Fn|5}}{{Fn|6}}
