Lesser Daemons are the foot soldiers of Chaos, building the core of the Daemonic Legions. They are usually anthropomorphic in appearance and possess a calculating, malevolent intellect.{{Fn|1}} Among the Daemons of Chaos they are ones most likely to answer the call of mortal heretics.{{Fn|2}} Lesser Daemons are little more than slaves to the will of their patron [[Chaos God]] and take orders on the battlefield most often from [[Daemonic Herald]]s and [[Greater Daemon]]s but also sometimes a [[Daemon Prince]].{{Fn|7}}
