The '''Plasma Pistol''' is a smaller version of the [[Plasma Gun]] and is just as dangerous as other [[Imperial]] [[Plasma Weapons]]. They are favoured by officers due to their rarity and also due to the power afforded by them. It is the strongest pistol available and can easily take out heavily armoured enemies. Only the highest officers have access to them, the exception being two members of a [[Space Marine]] [[Assault Marine#Assault Squad|Assault Squad]]. They may take them so as to become more effective as tank hunters.
