The '''Second Mortis Gate Campaign''' was a battle fought in 560.[[M33]] by the [[Dark Angels]] and [[Death Guard]]. During the battle, almost the entire [[chapter]] took to the field and it is recorded that all three of the chapter's sacred standards—the [[Standard of Devastation]], [[Standard of Fortitude]] and [[Standard of Retribution]]—flew over the scene of triumph.{{Fn|1}} The war lasted three months and saw storm-wracked warfare before the traitors were finally driven from their strongholds.{{Fn|2}}
