The '''Autogun''' is a hand held weapon similar in power to the [[Lasgun]] but designed to fire a solid slug of ammunition rather than a beam of light.
They were commonly used by the [[Imperial Guard]] but have, since the coming of [[Codex: Imperial Guard (4th 3rd Edition)#2nd Codex|Codex: Imperial Guard (3rd Edition, 2nd Codex)]], been removed due to a lack of differentiation between it and the Lasgun.
