The Troth, also known as Homo Sapien Verdantus, are a recognized strain of Abhuman within the Imperium. They are restricted to the world of Verdant.1

Overview
According to legend, a tribal king called Nemus once ruled over a people isolated from the rest of humanity in the time before the Great Crusade. It is said that Nemus swore an oath to protect his world of Verdant if the planet would protect his people. As a result, Nemus' descendants, the Troth, share a symbiotic relationship with the forests of their homeworld that enables them to "converge" with their environment and confound invaders. Over many centuries, the Troth have supposedly been transformed into beings with flesh as tough as oak and digestive systems that can extract nutrients from the earth.2
