However, the "shrine" turned out to subdue be a prison containing something that would aid the forces of [[Chaos]] in the region and Desruisseaux was actually a [[Charismites|ArchenemyCharismite]] forces on [[Formal PrimeChaos cultist]] at . Desruisseaux tried to kill the Guardsmen so he could use their equipment to unseal the onset of prison, but was killed in the ensuing firefight by [[Zennet]], the squad's [[Sabbat Worlds CrusadeSharpshooter]].{{Fn|1}}
