This changed in [[941.M41]], however, when the planet was called to start raising regiments for the [[Astra Militarum|Imperial Guard]] in response to the [[Second War for Armageddon]]. In recognition of the effectiveness of these hastily-deployed units (which became known as the Semtexian Bombardiers), the planet's population was bolstered by an influx of new miners. This, in turn, led to increased output and the discovery of new types of ore useful in the production of artillery.{{Fn|1}}
