Approximately 12km long and 4km wide, the Bokore Valley is bordered to the west by steep hills. At one end of the valley lies the capital city of Voltemand, a fortified settlement called [[Voltis City]]. Two major thoroughfares run down the valley from Voltis; one is the [[Bokore River]], a slow-moving river choked with water plants, and the other is the [[Metis Road]], a road that leads into the [[Voltemand Mirewoods]] before terminating at the [[Pavis Crossroads]].{{Fn|1}}
