==History==
A number of [[Imperial]] units fought against the forces of [[Chaos]] on Caligula as part of the [[Sabbat Worlds Crusade]]. The Imperial battlegroup featured [[Space Marines]] of the [[Raven Guard]] [[Chapter]] and multiple [[Imperial Guard Regiment]]s, including the [[Royal Volpone 50th]], [[Raymian 13th]] and [[Raymian 16th|16th]], [[Lakkarii Gundogs]] and [[Tanith First and Only]].{{Fn|1}}
The initial Guard landings were poised to assault [[Nero Hive]]. However, during the operation, a [[Psyker|psychic storm]] erupted over the [[hive]] which destroyed or disabled a number of [[troop-ship]]s and prevented further Guard from reinforcing the first wave. A detachment of the Tanith First and Only led by [[Colonel]] [[Colm Corbec|Corbec]] managed to find the source of the storm while making their way through the western part of Nero - a [[daemon]]. After successfully retreating from the creature, Corbec gave coordinates for the ''[[Navarre (Ship)|Navarre]]'' to initiate an [[orbital bombardment]], levelling the entire block, destroying the daemon and ending the storm.{{Fn|1}}
