During the [[Sabbat Worlds Crusade]], Thoth was part of the [[Imperial]] force sent to liberate the planet [[Caligula]]. Once the planet was secured, Thoth had [[Colonel-Commissar]] [[Ibram Gaunt]] and his [[Imperial Guard Regiment]], the [[Tanith First and Only]], placed in charge of the rebuilding efforts.{{Fn|1a}}
