The lekt were Rogue Psykers who served the Sons of Sek Warband, during the Sabbat Worlds Crusade.1a
Description
Like all of the Sons of Sek, each Lekt was remade through brutal training and were loyal to the Sons' master, Magister Anakwanar Sek1a. The Magister stamped his mark down hard on the Lekt, though, which bound them to Sek and caused their mind-voices to become echoes of his own1b. The Lekt were also given the ability to instill Daemonic life into Wirewolves, which was taught to them by Sek's highest coteries1c. If they were close by, when the Wirewolves were unleashed, then the Lekt could observe their creations, through a strange mixture of ever changing perceptions. Sometimes the Lekt could feel the Wirewolves' movements, see through their eyes or have the Wirewolves' actions described to them in words that flashed in their minds1c. The Lekt also bore Sek's badge, which was a symbol of his hands over their mouths. However while the Sons of Sek wore the badge symbolically, the shape of Sek's hands was burned directly into the Lekts' skin. This would seal their mouths shut, but the flesh was then cut open so the Lekts could speak and use their psychic abilities.1a
The Lekt's training, though, made their minds highly dangerous for Space Marine Librarians to consume. After doing so, the Iron Snakes Epistolary Hamiskora claimed the Lekt's mind he consumed, was both powerful and poisonous. This prevented him from gaining the Lekt's full memories and he only fortify himself to take in the Rogue Psyker's surface thoughts and recent memories. Diving deeper into the Lekt's mind to gain more knowledge, however, would risk Hamiskora's life.1b
