'''House Nansus''' is an [[Adeptus Mechanicus]]-aligned [[Knight House]] of the [[Imperium]], that serves the [[Forge World]] [[Hephaesto]]. It nearly came to blows with [[House Coneale]], due to their conflicting honour-oaths, but luckily the Hephaesto [[Tech-Priest]] [[Ronrul Illutar]] negotiated peace between them, before the Houses tore their [[Sector]] apart{{Fn|1a}}. House Nansus would later defend the Forge World, when it was invaded by the [[Orks]] of the [[Tekwaaagh!]] and the [[Freebooter]] [[Badrukk]] in [[M42]]. Despite their brave resistance, the Orks destroyed what forces House Nansus had on Hephaesto, and any survivors would have been left behind after only a relatively tiny group of Techpriests managed to evacuate the world.{{Fn|1b}}{{FN|1c}}
