'''Galaxy In Flames''' was written by [[Ben Counter]], and is the third novel in the [[Horus Heresy Series]]. A number of authors contribute to the series, but the storyline follows the same characters through [[Horus]]' descent into [[Chaos]]. In particular this installment of the series shows the tragic events on [[Isstvan III]] where the loyalist factions of [[Horus|Horus']] [[Traitor Legions]] were slaughtered with the use of [[Virus bomb]]s deployed by Horus's fleet above. It is the announcement to the galaxy of the fall of Horus and the begining of the Horus Heresy.
