The '''56th Ghobyan Assault Guards''', unofficially known as '''"Janred's Own",''' , is an [[Astra Militarum]] [[Regiment]], that was once led by [[Marshal|High Field Marshal]] [[Janred Remko Hynflaager]].{{Fn|1}}

[[Janred Remko Hynflaager|Hynflaager]] rose through the Regiment's ranks in his 37 years serving with it and during that time, the 56th engaged in numerous battles. This includes engaging in rebellion suppressions, wars against [[Xenos]], defeating traitor forces on [[Diadok]] and successfully defending [[Bulwark IX]] from [[List of Ork Waaaghs!|Waaagh! Snakrat]]. Even after Hynflaager was promoted away from commanding the Regiment, the 56th always served alongside him and began to unoffically call themselves, '''"Janred's Own"'''. It is a sign of the extraordinary bond between Hynflaager and his old reigment that he permitted the insubordination in the use of his first name. Forty years after he last led them, [[Marshal|High Field Marshal]] Hynflaager took part in the [[Indomitus Crusade]] as part of [[Battle Group Kallides]]. The 56th Ghobyan would fight alongside him and served in the Marshal's [[Task Force XI]], during the [[Argovon Campaign]] against the [[Necron]]s.{{Fn|1}}
