When the ancient creatures awoke, they rose from the depth of the planet and fell upon the Chapter. Twenty years later the Space Marines of the [[Fire Lords]] avenged the Emperor's Swords and eliminated the Necrons on Bellicas.{{Fn|1}}
Before their destruction, in 925.[[M41]] the [[Chapter Master]] of the Emperor's Swords, [[Kendral (Chapter Master)|Kendral]], was slain by the [[Ork]] [[Warboss]] [[Skullkrumpa]].{{Fn|3}}
Sometime during the [[Age of the Dark Imperium]], the Emperor's Swords and [[Void Daggers]] formed a coalition to engage the new [[T'au]] [[Fifth Sphere of Expansion]] although contact with this coalition has been lost.{{Fn|4}}
