During [[warp]]-transit aboard the ''[[Absalom (Ship)|Absalom]]'' to [[Menazoid Clasp|their next combat zone]], Feygor was seriously wounded when the sentry detail he was part of was attacked by soldiers of the [[Jantine Patricians regiment]], a result of both a standing feud between the Jantine and Tanith and the machinations of [[Inquisitor]] [[Heldane]].{{Fn|1h}} His life was saved by the actions of the Ghost's [[Chief Medic]] [[Dorden]] and Gaunt's effort to get lifesaving medical equipment issued to the Ghosts by [[Itumade Grasticus|the commander]] of the ''Absalom''.{{Fn|1i}}{{Fn|1j}}
Later, in the [[Siege of Vervunhive]] on the planet [[Verghast]], Feygor was severely injured once again when he was shot in the neck by a [[Ferrozoica|Zoican]] [[las-round]] in the Third Zoican Storm of [[Vervunhive]]. His life was saved by [[Bragg]] and [[Lesp]], the latter of whom performed an emergency tracheotomy on Feygor using his [[Tanith knife]] before they carried him to safety.{{Fn|3}} Feygor survived the Siege and was fitted with [[augmetics]] in his throat, which had the side-effect of making him sound permanently deadpan and sarcastic.{{Fn4Fn|4}}
