The '''Master of Ordnance''' is a specialist rank within the [[Imperial Guard]], typically assigned to [[Imperial Guard Command Squad|Command Squads]]. Artillery experts, they are trained and equipped with auspex identity-arrays, range-finding bionics, and modified rangefinder [[Servo-skull]]s in order to more accurately direct artillery fire during combat. The Master of Ordnance communicates directly with his counterparts in artillery companies, relaying the location of enemy forces and calling down a deadly bombardment with an accuracy not otherwise possible.{{Fn|1}}
