The [[Notable Tallarn Desert Raiders Regiments|88th Tallarn]] were sent to destroy them, but they suffered severe setbacks after one of the [[Genestealer Cult|Cult]]'s [[Jackal Alphus|Alphus]] wrecked wreaked havoc on the [[Regimentregiment]]'s command structure. She was a figure of terror to the Tallarn, who was able to snipe 27 of the Regimentregiment's officers and destroy 40% of its Second Battalion with explosives. However her rampage was finally brought to an end, when the Alphus was killed by the [[Vindicare Assassin]] [[Absolom Raithe]].{{Fn|1}}
