Gifted and somewhat cocky, Tlass makes up for her lack of proper training and caution with her formidable self-control and natural aptitude. This has also allowed her to not fall to the temptations of Chaos. The Unsanctioned Psyker's journey began on her distant Homeworld, which was long ago lost to the light of the Emperor and the teachings of the Ecclesiarchy. When Tlass powers came to be, with granted her an incredible yet treacherous talent for discerning the future from the faint whispers of the Warp, the world's waywardness allowed the Psyker to become a valuable asset to its rulers. Tlass would later renounce her role there, though, when the Rogue Trader Theodora von Valancius visited the Psyker's world and gave her a chance to serve House von Valancius. In the years that followed, Tlass used her gifts as a Diviner to aid Theodora more than once, by discerning events yet to come and paths yet to be uncovered.1
Tlass' cavalier attitude and underestimation of her powers have come at a price though. Once proud and arrogant, She has become a shadow of her former self, as her Divining have left the Psyker a tortured and broken soul. It has come to the point, that with each passing day, Tlass is less and less sure if her thoughts are her own or if they are coming from the Warp itself. However there is no escape from them except her for death and then her eternal damnation. Even if a glimmer of hope did appear to Tlass, it might be nothing more than the temptation of Heresy.1
