Trivia
As Ecanus looked on in shock, Ramiel gave him his true name and offered the Fallen a chance at redemption. In a rage at this revelation, Ecanus denounced Ramiel as a pawn of the Lion and attacked the Chaplain. They fought each other in the arena, as the Dark Eldar cheered them on and the more experienced Ecanus soon gained the upper hand over Ramiel. As the Chaplain wavered under the assault, he reflected back to the lessons Sariel had taught him about fighting a stronger opponent; and weakly swung his sword at the Fallen, which allowed Ecancus to launch a strike that would kill him. Ramiel predicted the attack however and dodged the strike, before he stabbed a surprised Ecanus in his primary heart. Weakened by the wound, Ecanus struggled with Ramiel as the Chaplain pulled his blade out of the Fallen's body, tearing his second heart in the process. Killed instantly, Ecanus' fell in a ruined heap in front of Ramiel, as roars of approval from the Dark Eldar filled the arena.1
As the crowd roared their approval the Orator, a Dark Eldar that served as a narrator for Damorragh’s arenas, told Ramiel what his prize would be for winning the tournament. He would join K’shaic, the Kabal's Archon, to the depths of Commorragh, where he would fight in even greater arenas. With the Fallen dead, Ramiel had no intention of fighting for the Dark Eldars' pleasure any longer; and as K'shaic looked down upon Ramiel from his seat in the arena, the Chaplain grabbed the weapon dropped by Ecanus and threw it at the Archon with all his might. The blow flew true and pierced K'shaic's chest, but a burst of light emerged from the Archon, when the weapon hit him. When it cleared, Ramiel saw that the Archon had used a displacement field to swap places with the Orator, who fell to the ground with a shocked expression on his face. K'shaic gave the Dark Angel a nod of mock respect, as the Orator died and Ramiel could do nothing but give a final prayer to the Emperor and await his fate.1  ==Trivia==trivia The name Ramiel might be inspired by Ramiel, either one of 20 fallen Watchers (angels) who sinned and rebelled against God by mating with human women and creating an offspring called Nephilim. Or alternatively an archangel which is normally spelled as Remiel but sometimes also as Ramiel. Both spellings translate as "thunder of God".
