''Abyssus Edax '' was originally built for the [[Legio Perennia]] on [[Bronta-Median]] during the [[Horus Heresy]]. Together with other Titans from Battle Group Astramax, the ''Abyssus Edax '' was to be transported aboard the freighter ''[[Omnissiax]] '' to [[Terra]] in order to strengthen the planet's defenses. During transport, though, the ship was redirected to the planet [[Callistra Mundi]] and ambushed by the Alpha Legion. A Titan crew from the ranks of the Alpha Legion's [[Sparatoi]] then captured the ''Abyssus Edax '' for the forces of [[Chaos]] and the Titan was soon deployed by the Alpha Legion to aid in the conquest of Callistra Mundi.{{Fn|1}} ==See also==*[[Imperial and Chaos Titans (List)]]
