In 006.[[M31]] it was on patrol near [[Advex-Mors]], during the last years of the [[Great Crusade]], when the Invidious was contacted by the world's garrison commander [[Praetor (Rank)|Knight-Praetor]] [[Kordray Mordred]]. The [[Sons of Horus]] had [[Horus Heresy|launched]] a [[Treachery at Advex-Mors|surprise attack]] on the garrison{{Fn|1b}}, to claim the [[Rangdan Xenocides]] arsenal they defended{{Fn|1a}} and the Knight-Praetor asked for the [[Promethean Class Cruiser]]'s aid. It was due to the Cruiser's arrival, that the Sons of Horus were forced to retreat and thanks to the efforts of Mordred and his forces, the [[Traitor]]s were not able to steal all of the garrison's arsenal.{{Fn|1b}}
