The rank of [[Space Marine Captain|Knight-Captain]] was then later bestowed upon Guain by Commander [[Luther]] while on [[Caliban]], just prior to its millennia after [[Destruction of Caliban|DestructionCaliban's destruction]] at the end of the [[Horus Heresy]]. He emerged into [[Realspace]] millennia later, and Ectorael eventually became the commander of joined [[Echo Station]] and the leader of the 's [[FallenAngels]] and , who were led by the Fallen [[HumansGuain]] that lived there. The [[Space Station]] would have dealings with the [[pirate ]] fleet led by the Fallen [[Borz (Fallen Angel)|Borz]], but this would not stop the pirate leader from stealing Echo Station's supplies in order to repair his fleet. Shortly after the theft, though, Borz returned and Guain had the Space Station's weapons lock on to the pirate fleet. By then, however, Borz had pledged to serve the [[Dark Angels]]' returned [[Primarch]] [[Lion El'Jonson]], who requested that the Fallen aid him in defending the embattled [[Imperium]]. This in turn, led caused Borz to tell the Primarch of Echo Station, and El'Jonson had wished to meet with Guain and the 's Fallen he commanded on Echo Station.Angels{{Fn|1a}}

After an angry Guain began yelling at the thieving Upon learning of this, [[Borz (Fallen Angel)|BorzGuain]] for daring to return, interrupted and made his presence known. A shocked Guain refused to belive the Primarch had returned, but Borz confirmed it and asked him to allow El'Jonson agreed to meet with [[Echo Station]]El's [[Fallen AngelsJonson]]. Guain agreed to this meeting, but he still felt anger towards the Primarch, as he believed El'Jonson was responsible for starting the [[Dark Angel]]'s civil war, that [[Destruction of Caliban|destroyed]] [[Caliban]]. This was shared by many of the [[Space Station]]'s Fallen, but it was also mixed with weariness, that the Primarch sought to kill them for their actions in the war. However El'Jonson would refute this upon his arrival at Echo and claimed he had no wish to reopen the wounds of the past by placing blame for what occurred. The Primarch then asked for their help in saving the embattled [[Imperium]] and was even accompanied by other Fallen who had agreed to aid him. If , but if they refused, however, then El'Jonson said he would simply leave and not bother them again. Guain's Fallen would then voice their their long-held grievances towards their Primarch and question why they would save the decrepit Imperium, that had regressed so far from what it once was. El'Jonson listened to all their complaints, but he simply explained that the faultless people of the Imperium, still deserved to be defended and not left to be preyed upon. Eventually the Primarch 's arguments convinced them Echo's Fallen and by the end of the meeting, they had all of Echo Station's Fallen had agreed to fight by his El'Jonson's side.{{Fn|1a}}
