History
Aphkar is a Fallen Angel, who is among those who now loyally serve their returned Primarch, Lion El'Jonson1c as the Risen.1d
History
He is a Terran Gyptian, who was one of the earliest members of the First Legion, Aphkar held the rank of Knight-Sergeant, when Caliban's civil war began. As his vengeful Primarch, Lion El'Jonson, attacked their Adeptus Astartes Homeworld, Aphkar and the other Dark Angels that served under Luther fought to defend themselves against their invading brethren. He personally saw the Primarch slaughtering First Legion veterans and Neophytes alike, before Caliban was destroyed and Aphkar was cast into the Warp1b. The Sergeant emerged into Realspace millennia later and eventually met with his fellow Fallen, Kai and the two later met Lohoc. The three then banded together to survive in this new Imperium, where the Fallen were hunted by the Dark Angels Chapter and the Unforgiven1c. Sometime after the Great Rift's creation, they used a landing craft to travel to the Imperial world Avalus and crashed into its capital Xerxe. The three survived the crash and hid themselves shortly afterwards. They then began discreetly leaving symbols that were only understood by the Fallen and which pointed to the building they hid themselves in.1b
They later began hearing that their Primarch, Lion El'Jonson, had returned to the Imperium and was now in Xerxe. This was soon proven true, when the Fallen Zabriel found their hideout and Aphkar was shocked to see him. The Sergeant had trained Zabriel when he joined the First Legion, but now the once younger man, was vastly older than Aphkar. This was due to Zabriel being in Realspace for some four hundred years, which caused Aphkar to wince, as the Sergeant had only emerged thirty years ago. Zabriel then stated that he had been sent by the Primarch to find and recruit the Fallen1b, that El'Jonson believed resided in the Capital1a. The Primarch wished for them to fight by his side to defend the embattled Imperium and was willingly to put their differences behind them. This came about after El'Jonson met Zabriel and then learned that some of the Fallen honestly believed he had attacked them first, during the civil war on Caliban. After hearing this, Aphkar and Kai were against aiding their Primarch, as they thought El'Jonson was responsible for the civil war and the deaths of their brethren. However both were surprised when Lohoc agreed to serve his Primarch, without a second thought, as he had never believed El'Jonson had been responsible for the civil war. Kai then agreed to meet with their Primarch, which led Aphkar to reluctantly agree to join them1b. The meeting began poorly, however, as the Sergeant still held lots of anger towards their Primarch. However after hearing El'Jonson's plea and having the Primarch promise to extend the same offer to any Fallen, who had not embraced the powers of Chaos, Aphkar agreed to serve by his side. Both Kai and Lohoc agreed to do so as well.1c
