'''Avatars''' are incarnations of the [[Eldar]] War God, [[Khaine|Khaela Mensha Khaine]]. During the [[Fall of the Eldar]], Khaine was caught and destroyed in a conflict between the [[Chaos]] Gods [[Khorne]] and [[Slaanesh]]. His essence was scattered across the galaxy, landing in the hearts of the remaining Eldar [[Craftworld]]s. Wherever his essence landed, an Avatar was created. Because they are mere splinters of the War God, none of the Avatars posesses the full power of Khaine. Nevertheless they are the mightiest of all Eldar warriors.
